Cookies and device storage

Storage we use

Vizu uses cookies and device storage for sign-in and, with your choice, saved interface preferences. Cookies are browser records; local and session storage also save information on your device. The desktop uses operating-system settings and the keychain for its connection and credential.

The feature suggestion form temporarily saves your text and a submission reference in this tab so navigation or a lost response does not lose or duplicate your submission. Text is cleared after confirmed submission; the receipt remains until another suggestion starts or the tab closes.

Optional usage analytics and masked replay

If referral-source measurement is configured, a standard referring-site address already sent with a request is reduced to a broad source category in daily totals. This adds no visitor cookie, device fingerprint or browser beacon and does not connect earlier visits to a later recording.

Separately, when service measurement is configured, Vizu counts ordinary server responses and operation outcomes in daily totals for seven UTC calendar days. These counters use no visitor cookie, device fingerprint or individual matching key. They remain separate from optional recordings, including if you later allow usage analytics.

If you allow Usage analytics and masked replay, Vizu collects page or feature categories, interactions, outcomes, timing and safe failure references to understand where people leave, retry or encounter errors. Public website replay preserves the page’s public text, images and styling, with pointer activity, clicks and scrolling. Form values and marked private areas are masked before recording. Workspace replay excludes customer design content, images and prompts. Full page addresses are excluded. Account, privacy, shared-design and capture surfaces are excluded from replay. Recordings can still be linked by random session and request references; they are not guaranteed anonymous.

This choice is separate from campaign statistics and advertising measurement. It is off until you allow it. Change it in Cookie settings on the website or Usage privacy in a workspace. Withdrawal stops collection and clears unsent events; you can request removal of the current recording, with pending removal shown if the service cannot be reached. Stored recordings and events expire after seven days under normal cleanup. Vizu uses its own service and private storage for this processing, not an advertising platform. Native diagnostic files remain on your device.

Your choices

Sign-in and connection storage is necessary to provide the service you request. In the web account, optional saved canvas, navigation and inspector settings are off until you choose to enable them in Privacy & data. You can change that choice at any time in the same place. Declining leaves the workspace available; settings stay in memory during use. Turning the choice off removes Vizu's saved optional settings in that browser. The desktop app remembers open workspace tabs, the active tab, the last page and view in each workspace, canvas position and inspector settings by default. This state stays in a local settings file and contains no credentials or design content. Turn off Remember my workspace in Privacy & data to remove saved restoration state. Signing out or deleting your account also clears it. Reopening a tab checks your current workspace access.

Campaign measurement

Campaign statistics, Advertising measurement, and Usage analytics and masked replay are separate optional choices. You can accept, reject or choose between them in the initial website banner. After you choose, the banner disappears from general browsing. Use Cookie settings on this page to change or withdraw these choices. The authenticated app does not show the banner.

If you allow Campaign statistics, Vizu connects campaign labels and visit times to signup, saved-screen activity and the first confirmed paid subscription. This uses activity records rather than design content and does not send those first-party records to advertising platforms. Attribution lasts 30 days; server records are deleted by hourly cleanup once they reach 90 days, or earlier after confirmed withdrawal or account erasure. The browser tab can retain a removal reference for up to 90 days. A limited withdrawal record is kept for 90 days after the latest request to prevent delayed requests or restored backups from restarting measurement.

Withdrawal stops local measurement immediately and requests removal of the visit record. If confirmation fails, keep the tab open and retry here or contact support. Account Privacy & data can also remove account-linked campaign records, but does not change this browser's advertising choice. Clearing browser storage does not itself delete server records.

Advertising measurement

If you allow Advertising measurement, X, Meta and Reddit receive visit and confirmed new-account signup events, an available ad-click reference, a random conversion reference and technical connection information. Allowing Campaign statistics alone does not enable these providers. We do not include your name, email, payment details, design content or the parent page address in the events. Meta and Reddit receive the address of an empty measurement frame containing an ad-click reference when available.

The integration is configured not to create first-party advertising cookies on Vizu. Your choice and the tab's click reference follow the 30-day limits in the storage table. Depending on browser settings, requests to these providers may carry their existing cookies. Withdrawal in Cookie settings on this page stops future measurement and clears Vizu's saved click reference; it does not automatically erase information the providers have already received. Browser controls

Your browser settings can clear website storage. Blocking sign-in cookies can sign you out and prevent protected workspace access. Clearing browser data resets saved settings; it does not delete hosted account or workspace content.
